Role of Microbiota-Specific T Cells in the Development of Colon Cancer

Cancer progression and response to current therapies is associated with select members of the microbiota. However, how and why the microbiota impacts the anti-tumor immune response is unknown. Our lab is investigating how the microbiota-specific immune response (specifically bacteria-specific T cells) impacts anti-tumor immunity in colorectal cancer.
